The Light Wall is a wall that is available in Tech Level 1. It costs 2 Carbon per unit, and is the cheapest and weakest wall available in the game.
Light Walls are used to block enemies from passing through, and can give advanced warning when enemy forces are approaching the player's base. Light Walls are weak and will quickly be knocked down, so they offer little in the way of defense.
In Tech Level 2, most players will replace their Light Walls with Medium Walls.
"Immediately available at Tech Level 1, Light Walls have limited defensive capability, but will slow down an enemy ambush, giving you time to rally your troops. They require only carbon, so they are a quick defence until you find ore. Light Walls cannot be upgraded, but are cheap and easy to produce."

Originally, Light Walls cost 5 Carbon for each unit. This was reduced in the expansion.
