The Light Frigate is a Ship that is available at the Shipyard in Tech Level 2. It is a fast scout unit, and can detect stealthed units. It is the first warship available in the game. The Gungan Lt Frigate is stealthed.
In Tech Level 3, it can be upgraded to the Frigate.
"Available at Tech Level 2, this speedy vessel is equipped with a basic energy weapon, making it suitable both for scouting and defence. It is also capable of detecting hidden units, including enemy submersibles. Note that its attack is ineffective against structures."
