The Hvy Trooper is an upgrade of the Trooper, and is available at the Troop Center in Tech Level 3. It has slightly more hit points, pierce armor, and range than its predecessor.
In Tech Level 4, the Hvy Trooper can be upgraded to the Repeater Trooper.
"Heavy Troopers are hardier and stronger than Troopers, and also have longer range. They become available at Tech Level 3."
