The Ore Deposit is an Ore source that must be gathered by Workers. Each Ore Deposit provides . Workers can deposit Ore at the Command Center or Ore Proc Ctr, the latter of which provides technologies which speeds up Ore gathering.
Ore Deposits are the only source of Ore, apart from Stockpiles. Once they have run out, the player must trade at the Spaceport to gain Ore.
